Multiply the width by the depth. This number gives you the square feet of surface.
For example:
Your driveway measures 16 feet by 46 feet. 16x46 equals 736 square feet.
Your front porch is 3 feet by 6 feet. 3x6 equals 18 square feet.
Your backyard stone patio is 12 feet by 12 feet. 12x12 equals 144 square feet. Add 736 plus 18 plus 144.
This equals 898 square feet of total surface you want to protect.
